Wisconsin is located in the central-northern area of the United States. Lake Superior sits at the north whilst Lake Michigan is in the east and it has a humid continental climate.
Although the largest city is Milwaukee, the capital of Wisconsin is Madison, whose capital building has one of the largest domes in the world. Other attractions include The University of Wisconsin, the Olbrich Botanical Gardens, UW Arborteum, and Henry Vilas Zoo.
Wisconsin is the national leader in cheese production and produces more dairy products than any other state in the United States except California. Local cuisine reflects this offering uniquely frozen custard and creamy fried cheese curds.
