Utah is a western state of the America. The vast expanse of the State is nearly uninhabited, with approximately 80% of Utah's population living along the Wasatch Front. Utah contains five national parks (Arches, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, and Zion), two national recreation areas, six national forests, and numerous state parks and monuments. It is a centre for government services, mining, transportation and research and technology information.
Utah was home to the 2002 Winter Olympics and has increased its popularity in Tourism and winter sports since. The mountains offer year round activities for lovers of incredible scenic beauty, camping, rock-climbing, hiking and a variety of snow sports. Utah's ski resorts are primarily located in northern Utah and have prime snow conditions and world-class amenities.
Salt Lake City has a number of unique modern and historical sites to visit, including Temple Square, the headquarters for the Mormon Church.
