Tennessee is a landlocked state in Central America. The state is split into three distinctive areas, each known for its' musical heritage. Eastern Tennessee is home to Bluegrass Music, Bristol, Chattanooga and Knoxville. An Appalachian culture influences its people and pastimes. Middle Tennessee is the state's most prosperous area. It is set against a backdrop of rolling hills and is home to Nashville and Country-western music. Western Tennessee is bordered by the Mississippi River and is influenced by Mississippi Delta culture and Blues music.
Tourists flock to The Great Smoky Mountains National Park by the millions every year. This World Heritage Biosphere Reserve is home to some of the rarest and most unique plant life in North America and its many deer and bears roam freely roam. Nashville is the country music capital of the world and Memphis is the birthplace of rock 'n' roll.
