Arkansas is a landlocked State slightly South East of Central America. It has a variety of areas from the mountainous regions of the Ozarks and Ouachita Mountains to the eastern lowlands along the Mississippi River. In between these grand features, fertile plains, valleys and dense woodlands dwell and rivers of crystal blue water flow. With such scenic beauty comes a plethora of wildlife. Caves are scattered throughout the mountains and viewing trips are available.
In Central Arkansas lies Little Rock, the state's capital and most populous city. Wal Mart is the world's largest public corporation and has headquarters in Arkansas along with other global companies such as J.B. Hunt and Tyson Foods. An economic boom in Arkansas has resulted from the 1970s because of this.
